Karl Wagner engraving "young girl in her carriage" signed in the edge and handwritten
Engraving by Austrian artist Karl Wagner (1839 - 1929). Born in Vienna, he is one of the painters who came to the Netherlands attracted by the fame of the Haagse school. Most of his work is offered in Germany and Austria, but regularly also in the Netherlands.
This print depicts a young girl with her grandmother in a horse-drawn carriage. It has some traces on the edges. The subject is very beautiful, quite new in the work of Karl Wagner. Signed once in the matrix, the print is also hand-signed by Karl Wagner.
